Hello, my name is Kajal Patel. I earned my Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Fairleigh Dickinson University in New Jersey. With 12 years of nursing experience, primarily in long-term care facilities and subacute units as a Unit Manager, I decided to further my education and pursue a career as an Adult Nurse Practitioner (ANP). I graduated with a Master’s degree from Chamberlain University in 2022. I joined the Wellness First Medical Clinic team in May 2023. Prior to this, I completed my clinical rotation at the Hillsborough clinic under the supervision of Dr. Patel. I primarily see patients at the Hillsborough Clinic and various rehabilitation and assisted living facilities.
I take great pride in providing care and making a meaningful difference in patients' lives. Looking ahead, I aspire to become certified as a Wound Care Nurse Practitioner, a field I developed a passion for during my time as a floor nurse.
Family is a crucial part of my life, and I enjoy spending quality time with them. I also engage in outdoor activities, particularly biking, which I find both enjoyable and fulfilling.
